The binary signal acquisition device USDD-24.01 collects and processes readings from 10 binary and 16 potential inputs of the module. The received data are sent to the network using RS-485 interface when the corresponding request from another device appears. Control of the signal acquisition device is realized through the configurator program (setting of data transmission via RS-485, test polling of inputs, inversion of input data). USDD-24.01 is used in Automated Information and Measuring System of Commercial Energy Metering (AIMSCEM), intelligent systems of monitoring and control of life support of country houses and other systems of smart remote control. The device provides the declared parameters under the following environmental conditions:
- ambient air temperature -20°С…+40°С;
- air humidity at +25°C (30..80)%;
- atmospheric pressure (84..100) kPa.
Features:
The device is powered by supplying the required voltage to the contacts “+48V”, “-48V”. In this case on contacts “+12V”, “-12V” appears voltage +12V, which can be used to power external devices, for example, RSDD-24AS.01. Another option for powering the device is supplying the necessary voltage to contacts “+12V”, “-12V”. At the same time voltage supply to contacts “+48V”, “-48V” is inadmissible.
Installation order:
CAUTION: If signals with dangerous voltages are connected to the device, all installation work must be done with the power supply disconnected.
- When carrying out installation and commissioning work, it is necessary to use the project documentation for the monitoring system.
- Mount the device on a DIN rail.
- Communication of the device via RS-485 interface should be performed by two-wire scheme. Connection should be carried out by twisted pair of wires, observing polarity. Wire A is connected to pin A of the device, similarly connect pins B. Connection should be made when the power supply of both devices is switched off.
- Connect the device inputs with discrete sensors (dry contacts) and/or potential contacts (wet contacts) according to the project documentation for the monitoring system.
- Connect the temperature sensor according to Figure 2 of the operation manual.
