AIMSCEM “PUMA” is an automated information and measurement system for commercial energy metering of resources from Jcom. It is designed to collect, process, store and transmit data on resource consumption (electricity, heat, gas and water) at facilities.

Technical metering
Technical metering is intended for internal purposes. The organization tracks energy consumption indicators (quantity, capacity, network parameters, etc.) to control resource consumption and monitor technical characteristics.
Automated Information and Measuring System of Commercial Energy Metering (AIMSCEM) “PUMA” can be used as a technical metering system that performs the following tasks:
- Forms statistics of consumption by organization at the facility or its sites.
- Controls equipment serviceability and quickly notifies of accidents.
- Keeps a log of various indicators of energy consumption profile (active and reactive power, voltage, current, etc.) and allows you to make detailed reports.
Commercial accounting
Commercial accounting is intended for the exchange of information with sales organizations. The company counts the exact amount of resources consumed during the billing period in order to pay for them.
AIMSCEM performs several key tasks in the field of commercial metering:
- Automatically transmits the readings of all metering devices to the management company.

How AIMSCEM “PUMA” is organized
To create and use it at the enterprise you will need “Jcom” equipment and software. The system consists of three levels:

The meter data can be transmitted to the server via different communication channels depending on the customer’s choice or equipment configuration:

- Ethernet – wired internet connection;
- 3G/4G – communication of mobile operators, through which large amounts of data can be transmitted quickly;
- NB-IoT+2G – modern communication standard, which is dedicated specifically for the Internet of Things (IoT – Internet of Things) and is designed for the transmission of small amounts of data;
- LoRaWAN – a wireless network that allows the transmission of small amounts of data over long distances through the use of intermediate base stations.
Readings from meters are transmitted in the form of modern network protocols:
