Time synchronization systems based on the “MASTER-WEDOMY” principle include 1 master clock or clock station, secondary clocks and communication lines between them. Master clock (index in MS marking) – primary clock, designed to count down the exact time and transmit the reference time signal to other clocks – secondary clocks. The standard synchronization algorithm copies the exact time signals of the radio “MAYAK”. At the beginning of each new hour Master clock “Impulse” (or another clock station) gives a synchronization signal. Synchro Output Load Capacity:
- Standard Master Clock: not more than 25 hours
- Master clock with reinforced synchro output (PMS index in the marking): up to 100 hours.
In large time systems it is recommended to install a master slave clock (index MS-SS in the marking) to amplify and retransmit the signal.
